Dan Hardy Won?t Be Cut by UFC, Plans Time Off to Reinvent Himself

Former welterweight contender Dan Hardy won't be released by the UFC despite suffering his fourth-straight loss to Chris Lytle in Sunday's UFC on Versus 5 main event, UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta announced following the event.

With his UFC career almost certainly on the line the next time he steps into the Octagon, Hardy said after the event that he's in no hurry to return as "The Outlaw" plans to reinvent himself before fighting again.
